Imagine a foreboding stronghold perched on a hill in the middle of a secluded wilderness, surrounded by its hamlet like a timid outgrowth. And, beyond, the mysterious, ancient forest dominates the land.
Well, almost.
A mysterious, unseen tyrant is the one who really dominates these lands, terrorizing the sparse population, abducting its daughters and forcing them into savage slavery. That madman's goal is to lure traveling barbarian warriors, mercenaries and even empoverished knights, as well as artisans, to enter his service so he can conquer more of the surrounding, disorganized realms. All the male guests and residents benefit of the female slaves' service and favors, whatever they may be. Those who refuse to submit to the lord's authority are facing harsh punishments or worse, torture. Consequently, many amoral men, scum and outlaws are starting to invade the land. Yet there also are a few gems in all that mud, and some reasons to keep faith in human nature.
Will you dare take a path as a young woman gathering berries? Or will you be a smith seeking work? A pilgrim? Or a visiting noble? Would you dare take the role of the insane barbarian lord himself?

An extreme, dark concept that may feature BDSM-like components (non-con enslavement, collaring, physical punishments) without being BDSM. A harsh setting that may seem repulsive at first: it does take some gall to just jump in and think: why not? It's all fiction and imagination. It allows us to try things we'd never do in real life. No one is taking any risk here, no one is getting tortured for real. It's all in-character, nothing's personal, it's all about building intense stories and personalities.
This could become a small or big open group that also can stem out into privare RPs. at this stage, this idea is highly adaptable. I'm thinking about a fictive land akin to the Scottish Highlands, which can harbor many races, from locals to Vikings and Europeans, etc., in a blurred period so we can play without being "anal" about historical accuracy: so this means we can go ahead with barbarians, people of the cloth, druids and Knights Templars if we so wish.
This also means to be an interest check at the same time. If you've got any questions, comments, suggestions, welcome to post them in the thread so everybody can see it!
