He scowled at the vampire when it took some steps back instead of attacking as he would have liked. "Coward," he snapped at the creature, taking a step forward of his own. Until it threw the nightstand that is, he side stepped quickly to get out of the way of the flying furniture even more pissed off at it now. He almost couldn't believe a vampire would go at such length to keep him at a distance because of a proper weapon. It certainly had no issues with attacking the civilians with any makeshift weapons they happened to have, if any. Haruki hardly hesitated as he ran at the vampire, blade moving forward to slash towards the neck. Though if it tried to block the attack his free hand would grab for it's wrist to stop that notion.

All of them blankly looked at Freesia when she spoke, not understanding what she was saying. However it was a good idea, it just didn't work. They began speaking Japanese amongst themselves, and seemed to be relaxing a little as the two wounded players started moving a little and speaking.

A guitar playing two short songs repeatedly could be heard in the hallway.

[Love the added music.]

"Damn. I was hoping they'd at least know a little." Freesia couldn't guess their language at all either. At least they were outright attacking them. Since they relaxed more Freesia made a motion for the group to follow her. They'd all be safer if they regrouped with the others. It would be easier to defend everyone that waty. "How long until those two are healed hon?"

His eyes narrowed slightly when the vampire dodged the blow, but not too long after he could hear music. He could only guess that it was Kelly as he felt the rush of adrenaline. It would seem she had found her guitar. Haruki grinned as he could feel the effect of the music. With the enhanced speed he moved his blade down quickly, toward the hand coming toward him, angling the blade so it could cut through the flesh of the wrist, between the bone. He was betting on the vampire being unable to get out of the way this time. Though just in case... his other hand reached forward to grab at the forearm of the creature, leaving him in a half crouch. Wether the blade hit or not he doubted the vampire would be more concerned about his open hand than the blade, and if he grabbed it he would pull the vampire forward and roll back to leave the vampire open for attack by the other two while he kept it down.

Too many cooks spoil the broth or however the saying goes. Josephine decided to stay out of the bedroom where the fight was going on. With so many in one place and her slow armor clad body would only be hindrance. But she remained nearby William ready to jump in if her assistance was required. But it seemed the fighters had things under control.

"Just a few more seconds, they are not badly wounded. But healing from a range is sloe." Cathrine said softly.

The group looked at Freesia and hesitated a little, talking amongst themselves. After a moment, they helped the two wounded stand up and hesitantly took a step towards Freesia and Cathrine. As indicating that they would follow, but from a distance. Jessica, the one who was wounded and in the front of the group held up four fingers, then pointed to herself and her group, then held up four fingers again and pointed down the hallway that Freesia and Cathrine had come from. Trying to communicate something.

The music in the halls continued playing. Refreshing the buffs everyone had.

"That's fine just come on." Freesia was talking to the four civilians and waving at them to follow. Catherine was healing them so she couldn't understand why they still had the hesitation. Upon them using the sign language Freesia understood what they meant. They needed the other members of their group. She nodded once more and motioned for them to follow so they could meet up with Kelly. Perhaps seeing them working with that girl would allow them to relax.

Josephine shrugged with the battle at its end she went back into the hall to join the rest of the group. Looking to the civilians she then stared down the halls watching for signs of movement. Making them feel safe or secure was not part of her job. Nor was it something she was interested in taking over.

He felt a rush of satisfaction when the vampire's arm was severed, along with a broken rib, though it took a few seconds for that to register with the adrenaline running through his body. Haruki was more quick to notice that he had been thrown backwards and - for a moment anyway - that he couldn't quite breathe. He had been in fights before though so didn't feel the usual surge of panic someone new to the feeling would. Rather he was silent until his body got over the shock and began to breathe normally once again. He noticed the cracked rib then and pushed himself up, remembering one of the newcomers was a healer.

Haruki walked out of the room and back into the hall, leaning against one of the walls, waiting until he could see the healer before calling over, "Anything you can do for a broken rib?"

The civilians were hesitant because they were new to this world, they literally just entered the world mere hours ago. They had no idea why their wounds were healing, where they were, or who these two women were. They did not yet understand magic. But they followed Cathrine and freesia regardless, keeping just a little distance.

Kelly was still playing her guitar in the middle of the hallway, unaware that the fight had ended. However once she saw everyone coming to her she stopped and her buffs stopped refreshing. She was panting lightly, it seemed to have taken a lot out of her. "Okay..." She panted out. "Who are you people?" She asked, looking at the four new arrivals. She took a few steps back from William when he showed up, seemingly more afraid of the man then the other three women he traveled with.

David and Christie followed Haruki and were a little less hesitant to meet with the four new people since they had seen the new people help them. [Who are these people?] They asked Haruki, speaking in Japanese.

Cathrine nodded to Haruki's question. "Yes, that is really simple. I can fix it up in just a few seconds." She replied simply. Provided he would let her touch him, the woman would step forwards and gently place a hand over the center of his chest. Then she would focus and her hand would emit a bright green glow. Within just a couple seconds, his ribs were back to normal. "Are these the missing civilians?" She asked William.

William shook his head. "No. None of these people are from Port Redwarren." He said. "What are you people doing here?" He asked, Raising an eyebrow when he noticed that Kelly was only wearing bedsheets.

(And since they are finally all formally bumping into eachother.)

With the combat over Freesia dismissed any remaining wolves for the time being and stuck close to Catherine. "I'm surprised these guys held out in a house full of vampires so long without good gear or magic." She was omitting Kelly of course for she figured the girl was a heavy support based caster like Catherine. Even with a good support caster a party of under equipped and inexperienced civilians would have a hard time. To answer Kelly Freesia responded. "We're" she motioned to herself and Catherine "Part of the Spartan faction in this world and those two," She motioned to William and Josephine, " are part of the Royal faction. We're on a joint operation to save people from the vampires in this mansion."

She omitted some parts so they wouldn't be too freaked out. "Wait these aren't them? Just how many people have the kidnapped?" It was true they hadn't explored all of the mansion, but they had to have killed a huge number of the vampires right? Surely they couldn't have a great deal more in the mansion? With their increased numbers they should be able to get out of here easily. Freesia turned to Kelly once she spied William staring at her. "Oh, uh let's get you some clothes. Did you find any weapons in that room we found you in? We should arm all of you so you can defend yourselves in case we find more vampires in here."

Haruki wouldn't move to stop Catherine when she walked over. Instead he moved his attention to the other civilians, switching back to japanese. [They're here to help with the vampire problem and are rescuing any that are captured.] He had gleaned that much information off of them from the brief introductions before the fight, and considering they hadn't been helping the vampire's during the attack he assumed they were here to get rid of the trouble rather than cause more.

In a moment he would switch back to english. "Thanks," he told Catherine as his eyes moved over the other three. His gaze lingered on William when he noticed him looking at Kelly. "We came in to have a picnic and met some nice people to store us in their very own personal meat lockers." Honestly, what sort of question was that? And why did everyone seem concerned about the bedsheets Kelly was wearing in place of her own ripped up clothes? She did have a jacket on, though considering that was beneath the blankets it was unlikely that any of them had noticed it. His attention was diverted when Freesia spoke. "Any other weapons would be in that storage room, if there are any. The bed posts are made of wood, so the weapons they have aren't entirely useless against the vampires," he felt the need to point that out, but lost the sarcastic tone of his voice now that he was speaking to Freesia and not William.

Josephine looked over at the mention of weapons. "I will take a look at the weapons as well. My whip has proven ineffective against these vampires and demons. " she said. Her interest peaked she walked over to them and continued "The civilians and noncombatants should leave as quickly as possible. Regardless of whether we succeed  in cleansing this place it must be reported that demons and vampires have been seen together. "

Kelly quietly spoke up. "We barely survived. Mostly thanks to this guy taking the lead," she gestured to Haruki "and the fact that we only ran into three vampires plus whatever was in that room. I don't know why the place is so empty, I know there is a lot more vampires here then that..." She said, unaware of the party that was going on downstairs. She nodded a little when Freesia mentioned the factions they were from, she vaguely knew about the factions since she had been around longer then the rest of the newbies here.

Kelly nodded at the mention of finding clothes. "No, no weapons in the room. I'm going to search the nearby rooms... Since we know they are clear now. Probably clothes in one of the dressers." She said before leaving to do so.

As she left to get clothes William let out a quiet, disappointed sigh. But he said nothing to stop her. "A couple hundred went missing over the last week or so. According to the records, only a couple of them were Asian." He said. "We are assuming there is somebody in charge of the vampires, as it appears to be an organized assault. There is also the issue of the..." He stopped, noting that Freesia left out those details when speaking to the civilians and assumed she didn't want to spook them. "The things me and Josephine found downstairs. Those things are not natural in this world, as you may know they can only get here if summoned here, or through a portal." He said, referring to the demons. "If the vampires are summoning them, we need to know why. If there is a portal open, both our cities are in grave danger and need to close it before... Before very bad things happen." He said, trying to recap the situation for Freesia and Cathrine. Although, when Josephine just openly mentioned that demons were spotted here he cringed a little, hopefully the English speaking civilians didn't panic at the mention of demons. Luckily Kelly had left, he didn't think anyone else other then Haruki would understand. "As Josephine said, we need to find out why the vampires need this many humans. They had no problems feeding before and did not need to take captives, nevermind taking over a hundred captives. And why demons are with them."

"No problem" Cathrine said when Haruki thanked her.

William chuckled slightly at Haruki's sarcasm. He was a pretty laid back guy so he didn't care much that the man was being sarcastic. He pulled a cigarette out of his pocket and lit it, putting it between his lips and taking a deep breath. They seemed to be taking a break so he figured he'd relax. "You guys didn't look like captives and you were kicking some ass, figured it was a possibility that you came in here to slay vampires for some reason." He said. "Or that maybe you got my message asking for help with this place on the message boards and showed up earlier then we did."

"Good idea with using a bedpost for a weapon." Cathrine commented. She hadn't really noticed that before, having been too focused on the group in general she had not thought of the bedposts as weapons. Then again, she was a healer not a fighter, these things didn't come to mind for her.

"Ah right the stakes. Still I was hoping to get you all some armor or some kind of gear so you could keep yourselves safe...Safer." Freesia looked at William as he stared at Kelly. "Really?" Was all she said on him staring at the poor girl. Lord knows what she had just been through and here he was eyeballing her. "We've cleared the way of most the enemies down stairs. I think, so if you all wish to get out of the mansion now that's your choice. We have to find the rest of the people and stop whatever the vampires are trying first. I can't promise you that more haven't appeared though."

It was a conundrum really. Should they simply leave the civilians here alone, make them come with them, or tell them to leave? Sure they would add to the combat strength, but odds are one or more them would die. Freesia didn't know if she wanted that on her conscience.

Josephine raised an eyebrow at William's response. Demons were not something to try and conceal for personal feelings. They were dangerous and deceitful and needed to be watched for carefully. Shrugging she folded her arms across her breastplate looking at the group. Shrugging she continued "They should get out as quickly as possible. From the stairs its a straight shot outside. A relatively small distance to make sure they get out of the mansion alright." offering her opinion to see the civilians out themselves.

His gaze flickered back to William upon hearing the sigh, seeing the man's own gaze on Kelly once again. He bit on his tongue to stop himself from saying anything. His glare clearly stated for the guy to stop looking at her like that. She had already been through enough as it was. "No, we just got here," he explained. "Some people on the streets were forcing people into these pods and when we woke up we were in the field. There were overgrown wasps not to far away. The only reason we came in here was to get away from that since at the time I was the only one with a weapon. The vampires took some civilians down to be sacrificed and put the rest of us up here. Besides the two dead people the only other non-vampire was Kelly. The one in charge you're looking for is Draco, another vampire."

At Freesia's comment and Haruki's glare William just shrugged. "Not often ya see a fine lady dressed in so little. Enjoy life's moments while you can." He said simply. "If we weren't in a dungeon I'd take off my shirt so it'd be fair for the ladies, that way everyone has something to look at. However, I do need the chainmail under my clothing so I cannot do that." He added. Where he lacked in compassion he made up for in ego and a high opinion of himself.

"I'm here with my girlfriend" Cathrine stated, leaning against Freesia as she spoke. "We are not into guys so we don't need the view of your beer belly." She added in an innocently insulting way. Although that was partially untrue, she herself was bisexual but William didn't need to know that and it didn't matter now that she had Freesia.

William shrugged to Cathrine's comment "your loss." He said, ignoring her insult. Although, as Haruki spoke he stopped goofing off and took a more serious note, putting his attention on Haruki. "You were forced into a pod? Unrelated, but that is a problem of its own. Not that we can do anything from inside this world though. But even more concerning, is the mention of sacrifices... Vampires have no need for such things, but that is a common in rituals for just about anything demonic... And where is this Draco?" He asked. At this point Kelly returned, but William was being serious now that he got this new information and didn't even look to see if she had gotten dressed or not.

"Draco's room is the one at the end of the hall, next to where we had been held captive." Kelly said. "Only place on this floor we didn't search." She added. She had put on a shirt and pants she had found in the room, they were a little loose but they worked for now. She timidly handed Haruki back his jacket saying a quiet "Thank you" for it. She still seemed nervous about going near him though.

"Enjoy the moments yes, but not at others expense." Freesia merely wrinkled her nose at him when he mentioned removing his shirt. Freesia was bisexual too, but nothing about William was attractive. From his attitude to his smoking habit. Freesia patted Catherine as she leaned against her. "You're making the mission sound like a date." She smirked for a moment before refocusing back onto the mission. They had many lives on the line so a plan of action needed to be made.

The mention of the head vampire's room being on this floor made her a bit nervous. He had to be an elder vamp and skilled in combat. Not to mention he could have guards, but he hadn't exited the room. Perhaps they had already killed him down at the party? "So the question is do we go to Draco's room to see if there are notes on what they're doing that can tell us how to stop what they're doing or head to the sacrificial chamber and just start blasting?" Either option had its advantages, but it could be Draco kept no notes and it would simply be a waste of time.

As the others expressed her opinions Freesia moved over to Kelly and whispered to her. "Are you okay...did you need to talk about what happened or take a breather?"

Haruki shook his head when Kelly went to hand the jacket to him. "Keep it for now." He didn't really need it at the moment, and if she gave the jacket to him now there wasn't anything stopping her from leaving to go wherever after the mess with the vampires. She didn't seem to be the sort that run off with other people's possessions anyways.

On the matter of people getting out of here though... He turned to the civilians. [You can leave now, straight down the stairs and out the door. They've already killed all the vampires between here and there. Find a nearby city and go there. If you need help just go to a factions headquarters in the city. It'll either be the Spartans or Royals, that's where the people in this group come from. They'll help you. Okay?]
