Until it threw the nightstand that is, he side stepped quickly to get out of the way of the flying furniture even more pissed off at it now. He almost couldn't believe a vampire would go at such length to keep him at a distance because of a proper weapon. It certainly had no issues with attacking the civilians with any makeshift weapons they happened to have, if any. Haruki hardly hesitated as he ran at the vampire, blade moving forward to slash towards the neck. Though if it tried to block the attack his free hand would grab for it's wrist to stop that notion.
