Haruki didn't notice when Draco first appeared in one of the puddles since that one was beyond the supports but he saw him clearly in the second one. He was moving in the next second, sprinting toward the vampire to slash at the right arm Draco had just used to hit Catherine. Haruki didn't pay any attention to the healer after that, more distantly hearing her and the shield crash with the wall, blocking out Kelly's yelp to focus solely on Draco and the vampire's movements.

It happened so fast Freesia would have missed it if she had blinked. One moment the puddles were freezing over, the next Draco had sprinted out of them before she could react and tossed poor Catherine through the air like she was a fly. A startled gasp escaped her throat, but she repressed the urge to go after her. She had the spartan shield and the ability to make her own. If she got distracted now she'd likely just end up dead or someone else would. Like Haruki who went in to attack Draco.

Freesia's best spells were area of effect and with Haruki charging in she couldn't use them without risking hitting him. Hell, even her single target spells would be considered risky. The vampire was strong and fast enough to use the man as a human shield. The safest thing to do would be to summon more aid and continue to freeze over the blood pools. With a wave of her hand Freesia summoned two more goblins which came out swinging at Draco's legs from behind the vampire. The other goblin was getting off the ice to join in the fray.

As the others converged on the vampire Freesia would start to back up and continue to use her signet to freeze nearby blood pools.

Josephine growled as Draco appeared behind her and attacked their group. Turning on her heel she got close enough then pulled back and sent her whip forward. Even if she doesnt hit him in a vital spot she could hold him down for a moment or two. Hopefully enough time for William or someone to get some real damage in. With that in mind she locked her gauntlet around the handle of the bone whip. Either he dodged it entirely or he was going to fight her full bodyweight to break away.

William moved in with the others, stabbing his staff at Draco's chest. He chose a stab instead of a swing so that if he missed it would not endanger anyone near him, since everyone was grouped close together.

Draco was in a bad position and he knew it. He had intended for his attack to kill the healer, he had not known she had a protective barrier. It would have been a fair trade, taking a little damage to kill one opponent, but now he was unable to avoid taking damage and his target was not dead. He had Haruki coming in from the north, William from the west, goblins from the south and east, and Josephine's whip cracking in around Haruki. Five attacks, from all directions. He had just used his blood teleportation move, he couldn't use it again for a few more seconds, and the nearby pools were frozen over so he could not use them to fire ranged attacks at the others or to jump from one to the other. Freezing the pools had disabled several of his strongest and deadliest spells as well as his primary form of mobility. Taking away his ability to just appear at an pool in the room and attack whoever was closest.

A quick analysis of the situation told him that Josephine's whip would strike first. It is the fastest, and Josephine didn't need to move much to get in range. Haruki would strike second, since he was faster then William and they both had to run a short distance to reach Draco. William would strike third, and the goblins last, since the goblins needed a second to be summoned, figure out where they were, and act out the orders before they could start attacking. But, essentially they'd all be striking one after another, with less then a second between attacks.

He had no way of striking at Josephine, she was too far away and he was surrounded, nor could he dodge when there was opponents on all sides. He had to take a hit, and he definitely did not want those goblins to land their hits. Out of all of them, those two attacks were the most dangerous to him, they would do far more then just wound him. He also knew that he could not let Haruki completely sever his arm, that wouldn't grow back on its own. With that, his plan was set and he knew exactly where he would need to take the hits.

Draco spun his body, so that his attacking Arm moved away from Haruki's downward slash but his other arm moved towards Haruki and reached up to grab the bone chain of the whip. The impact of the whip sliced his hand open and shattered most of the bones in his hand, snapped his wrist, and and sent several fractures down his forearm but by grabbing it he was able to prevent it from striking his body and wrapping around him. While this saved him from being killed by Josephine's attack, his left hand was now severely damaged and unusable. And with that he lunged sideways at Haruki with his superhuman speed, throwing a right handed jab at the man's chest with his other hand almost in the way a fencer would thrust a sword. The jab was a weak punch, but with the vampire's strength it was more then enough to knock the man backwards a few feet and crack a few ribs. Nothing Cathrine couldn't fix up quickly once she regained her bearings. He fully expected to trade blows, he expected Haruki to strike him with the sword, but since Haruki had his sword extended from his previous attack he wouldn't be able to strike at anything other then Draco's torso before Draco could hit him and knocked him away, and the power of his swing would be limited also due to the sword already being extended. If he wanted to strike at Draco's arm or head he'd need to pull the sword back first and by then it'd be too late. Or, if Haruki opted to dodge instead of attacking Draco would have an extra chance to evade the followup attack and would no longer be surrounded.

By moving towards Haruki, Draco would be moving away from the goblins and evading their attacks by slipping out of their reach. He was also moving closer to Josephine, so her whip would have slack in it if she struck him with it and would not be as tight. And, he was slightly closer to Kelly, and Freesia in this position aswell. which would He, however, would not be getting out of William's reach. William's attack would strike Draco in the ribs, sending an electric shock through Draco and cracking a few ribs due to William's enhanced strength. William's strength was not enough to knock the vampire away from Haruki with just a stab though. What was concerning, was his complete lack of reaction to the pain from the wounds he received. Despite being severely wounded, and nearly having his hand torn off, he did not even scream, he remained focused.

He remembered what had happened the last time he had taken a hit from a vamp; thrown backwards, some cracked ribs, but he had also gotten his own attack in and that was with just the buffs from Kelly. This time he had Freesia's buffs as well and he was aware that the two of them were somewhere behind him. If he got knocked back at an angle it was possible that he might knock over the closest one as well. That and either way he wouldn't be close enough to stop Draco from getting to either of the supports if he did take the hit. So he would have to avoid being hit if he wanted to remain an obstacle in Draco's path to the supports.

He needed to dodge, and he was counting on the buffs to help him get out of the way and avoid being thrown across the room, whether it was into a wall or one of the soldier manequins. Which way though? He didn't have the luxury of time to take a proper look around and could only guess where Josephine was from the crack of her whip.

Haruki made a split decision to go left, more or less heading to the right side of the vampire (I think), trying to keep the creature pinned down between them. He wasn't as nimble as his siblings, but he had those buffs so he jumped forward to the left, hoping to evade the attack coming toward him or only get clipped from the blow.

His sword arm would follow through the movement of his slash, cutting through air rather than flesh to stop as it lowered once more and was now behind his body as he turned so his left side was facing Draco. The fingers wrapped around the sword would start to glow as he concentrated on keeping a steady flow of magic-energy to the spot, readying the only spell he had in his arsenal. His other hand had curled into a fist, and with the twist of his body to follow through with his earlier momentum he went to punch the vampire.

It was too crowded around the vampire to risk launching any offensive spells at him. Between Catherine and Kelly healing and buffing was covered so she'd merely be wasting power by casting anymore on their front liners. Then of course goblins would keep coming after Draco until he was defeated. There was one thing she could do none of the others could do though and that was nullify the blood pools so the vampire couldn't use them.

As the goblins and her other allies kept up the attack on the vampire Freesia moved to freeze over the last of the pools. If she was successful she could then focus all of her attention back on Draco to wait for an opening to fire off a spell. Hopefully all of the people attacking him would keep the vampire from reaching her or Kelly or Catherine. She just had to trust in them to guard them and her friends to know when to give ground.

Her whip finding purchase the dullahan grimaced inside her locked helmet. It wasnt a deadly hit but still she could make it hurt. With the edges of the bonewhip digging into the vampires hand and ripping it to pieces, the other undead yanked her whip back. No longer confident that she could keep a good aim on the vampire through the surrounding troops she instead opted to take a defensive stance. With Catherine's shield down she was in danger and it had seemed that Draco was aiming for her with his attack.

Running over she placed herself between Catherine and Draco in a wide stance intent on acting as a wall of metal and muscle to keep the healer safe while William and the rest of the attackers wailed on the ancient.

(If you are unsure of which direction it is, Synthia, you can always use North/South/East/West, which will just base the direction off the top-down view of the map)

As Josephine yanked her whip back the spikes embetted in the vampire's hand combined with her superhuman strength tore clean through the vampire's hand bones and all, tearing its hand off at the wrist. The vampire did cringe in pain at that move, but followed through with his original plan. As Haruki dodged right Draco flicked his his arm that was missing his hand in Haruki's direction. A quick, simple movement that did nothing more then throw blood in that direction. However, the drops of blood hardened in mid-air and changed into small 2 inch spikes. They were not deadly, but there was about ten of them aimed for Haruki's torso, they were long enough to really hurt and incapacitate a target. Haruki was the target since he was the closest unarmed target. Such an attack would be useless against William or Josephine who were armored. And the goblins could just be re-summoned.

Freesia's third goblin filled Haruki's previous spot after Haruki moved. Draco continued rushing forwards at the goblin that replaced Haruki. Using its superior speed to strike before the goblin could, the vampire would crouch low, predicting a higher-aimed attack from behind, and would throw a punch at the goblin's chest. If the goblin was hit it would be thrown backwards, and would likely be dispelled from the power of the blow. If the goblin dodged or was hit Draco would immediately lunge forwards from his crouching position, trying to get out of the encirclement of enemies. If something other then those two things happened, Draco was in a position to spring out of the way of an incoming attack.

Freesia's other two goblins and William were chasing Draco from behind, with Draco's superhuman speed they were straggling to keep up with him when he ran even though he didn't move far. They would all move into striking distance, but by the time they would be able to swing Draco would be lunging away from them after his attack, assuming it went to plan.

Freesia would be able to freeze over the rest of the blood pools now that she was closer and focused on them, removing Draco's ability to teleport around the room. As small of a task as it seemed like, that was a major blow to Draco. As powerful as Draco was, it was a nine vs 1 fight, he was drastically outnumbered. And he was not a defensive-type or AOE type of fighter, he was a mobility-based fighter and Freesia was cutting off his main form of mobility. He could make more pools, but that would expend a lot of energy again and if they'd just be frozen over again it was not worth it. And, despite his power and skill, there was too many people in the group, their combined power was more then he could handle.

With a glance at the blood flying toward him and knowing Draco had complete control of the fluid he swung his sword arm forward, but instead of attacking he activated the magic now crackling softly at his fingertips. The ather magic would be quick to form a one foot circumference shield to block the blood from hitting the vital parts of his body. As that happened he grabbed the sword with his other hand to ready it for another attack, taking the time to assess the situation before he attempted to strike again.

The goblin couldn't dodge the blow and was dispelled in an instant from the force. It wasn't a big deal though. The goblins were only meat shields that could land a nasty blow if they were lucky. They drew the attention away from the supports and heavy hitters since no one was a real tank in this party. If only she could get a clear shot at him she could reduce his mobility more, but there were too many opponents in the area.

The only thing she could think to do was summon more creatures to keep on harassing him. Instead of goblins this time she summoned three giant wasps above him in a traingle formation that would all dive at him trying to hit joints, neck, or face in an effort to slow him down so perhaps William could land a strong blow.

Josephine looked at the group and Draco. Despite their wounds and lack of planning they are keeping the ancient vampire on his toes and having to work around them. Then she noticed the mannequins wearing armor and swords. Her whip was a ranged attack and her punches while inhumanely strong would not work well against a vampire of this caliber. But if she could get a blade maybe she could get in close to fight. Unlike the rest of the party a simple dismembering wouldnt kill her and her armor made it much more difficult to hurt her.

With this plan in mind she dashed towards the nearest suit of armor intent on grabbing its blade and then rejoin the fight.
