I'm planning to do some work on the site this summer to upgrade it to the next version of XF and such.

Any requests while I'm working on it?

Drafts? It was an old feature in your old site, we can retrieve it but over here it stays on your box but disappear after a time.

That is a setting I had set too low. I've upped it to 99999 hours. People shouldn't have issues with it now. Lmk if you see one vanish again.

So, from what I'm seeing, we have to request to have Sub-Forums made. Is there a way to be able to pin our own stuff, or create our own Sub-Forums in our Group RP's? I'm assuming there isn't since it's part of like, Admin tools, or however it's done, but figured I'd ask. I also ask because I don't like bothering people too much to help me fix or create things. I dislike being a burden. XD

Yeah, adding a subforum requires reordering the entire board and I'm concerned it won't work correctly 100% of the time so I can tell you that's out.

Pinning things requires per board mod permissions which an Admin would need to setup. Separating out those permissions with the way Xenforo's ACL is setup isn't the greatest idea unfortunately.

I hear ya, I'm not the most board savvy person, in terms of running and operating them, as it were, so I was unsure on how difficult or if it was even possible.

Would it be possible to change/add a type of block where if you block someone, they can see that you exist but can't see your profile content, posts, statuses, anything?

It would be like how blocking works for social media like Instagram and Facebook.

The block feature we have now is muting

Not quite a feature, but I would like to once again bring up the topic of thread locks. Is it possible to abandon that system? It’s a hassle to have to babysit character and world building threads to keep them from locking. Some of that stuff doesn’t get updated all that often and it’s easy to forget to bump them, at least for me. It’s more of a chore at this point, because a lot of these I’m not adding new posts to but rather editing the existing posts within them but you cannot edit locked threads so it really is just a needless chore on our part, and probably on the mods part as well since they need to unlock the threads if we forget to bump them.

This really would be a quality of life change for some of us who are tired of that. It would also benefit the group RPs as they have many threads that may not get touched in a while but the group leader has to babysit bumping every single one of their threads. I can see how annoying that is for groups like Realism where there are separate threads for character sheets and stats that are edited often but not replied to, hence requiring a babysitting bump that is rather needless.

I hope you consider this as I still cannot understand why there is a need to have a locking system in the first place.
