Hi, I would like to do ( or better - be part of ) a group roleplay around some kind of Mad Hospital or House of Correction. We can have a setting for the facility ( from "normal" hospital rooms, a part being more a secure unit or psychiatric ward, and a deep dark dungeon for maltreating and incarceration of the wildest (or... innocent but attractive...) victims. We can have examination and treatment-rooms, rooms for medical (or simply... sadistic or sexual thrilling) experiments, we can have a cafeteria, training room, whatever for the staff. Perhaps a dormitory. We can create characters for inmates, nurses/wardens, medics, doctors, and perhaps some dominant/sadistic persons in control, a (male or female) director, chief nurse, head of security, ...

If there is something already in progress here on the fiction depot, please give me advice. I did not find something like that.
I think we can start up with 3-4 players, and set up the "universe" step by step.

Anyone interested to participate? Ideas for the setup of the facility, for plots or characters?

I'd definitely be up for participating in this, I don't have any ideas at the moment but I'm definitely interested and I'll try to brainstorm up something. :)

Depending on how much traction this gets going and gets more fleshed out, I would like to throw my undergarments in as interested. ^^

I'd like play a patient or two, I'm a rather masochistic person, so this sounds like alot of fun.

Ok, we need some clarification and decisions :)

For the question about the limits... I think we should have limits in general, not special rules given with each inmate. If someone decides to go harder, all of the participants will have at least to read it. For myself I would only have the following rules in mind:

No womit, No scat
No characters being teens or younger
No (unwanted) death ( simply as the character would be out of the game. )

We will have to face the problem of "God modding" of the inmate characters, if someone is strapped or otherwise bodily inhibited, the other characters of the games will be allowed of couse to manhandle in any way they like to act. The same for example with drugs etc, the active part will describe the main characteristics of its effects.

( of course we can have a lot of out-of-role communication to know each other's preferences )

As a summary : I would like to go dark and hard :)

[more to follow]

As this is still under discussion, I try to setup a first draft of a Introduction. If you are ok with it I can then go to copy it to a new thread in the roleplaying area :)

The institution
The Name of the Institution is "Dr. Wrenko Hospital and Psychiatric Clinic". ( With this the owner/leading doctor can still be of any gender or a couple. Anyone to do the boss? Of course a change of the name is easily done if you have already a specific character and name in mind).

The Buildings

The clinic is set up by the following complexes:

The hospital
A modern style building, with the main entrence, containing offices, administration, rooms for consulting, examination and treatment. This is connected to different, also modern and new build sections:

Inpatient wing, rooms for patients ( mostly of a modern, friendly style, maybe the doors locked up, but no visible sign of keeping the inmates as captives). The rooms have numbers 1,2,... Maybe some of the rooms have special equipment, or are used for special purposes.... The Inpatient wing has it's own "nurses station".

Staff wing, a dormitory and social environment for staff.

The "Houses in the Park"
Some old villa-like buildings, located in a wide park area. Each house has a number and/or name (so everybody who wants to give some details can pick up a new house number). Some of them are used to house groups of patients who are able to spend her own life and share in small living communities with other patients. Maybe some other houses are in a more... wracked style, bricked up windows, and connected by stairways or underground corridors. Nobody knows what is going on inside....

The "Basements"
There is a lot of underground layers, called "Basements", having different levels ( from I, II, III, ... ) each new number leeding downwards, and sectors, named by characters, for example II-A. The history may be: the whole area once was a military installation with the "Houses in the Park" being build for camouflage and as homes of officers, scientiests or whatever. With the cold war the facility was enlarged and build out, but later on vacated and "lost". Dr. Wrenko buyed it for a nice price and started to build his new hospital above.
With each level of the basement there is a "security room" for the staff, to be used in case of rioting, also used as restroom for wardens and nurses. With the security room there is also a booth for a member of the security staff and the technical facilities to monitor and control the level ( displays for monitoring cameras and such).

Entrances to come up to the Facility

When new inmates or employees arrive, there are different points of access:

A main entrance, modern lobby and receiption, where a beatiful assistant welcomes Guests or Clients, who are able to walk in on their own and on their own free will. With the Lobby is a waiting are with large black leather club chairs. All is full of light and in a modern, functional style. The Lobby is also the hub between the doctor's consulting rooms, the administration, a cafeteria, and other different parts of the clinic.

A staff entry, leading directly to the staff wing. There is a gatekeeper's booth.

A entry and drive-in for ambulances, connected to a emergency room.

A remote, hidden doorway and garage at the backside of the building, leading to the basement, where sometimes black windowless vans drive up, to deliver the poor who are facing to be brought down to the lower level of the basements....
