A spin-off of the kid's movie thread...

Good feels, bad feels, nostalgia feels, anger feels, any feels

It made me think of Mother!, the most feels movie I've ever watched, period. I was watching at work while doing tedious shit, had to shut it off half way through, go cry in a room, finish watching it, and cry again. Intensely triggering but cathartic.

I remember there was a scene in that movie, Hero, when Flying Snow kills Tony Leung for like the third time, except this time it's for real, and she gets all emotional asking him why he didn't defend himself, and they play the long strings and you see their servant riding up with the yellow flag in his hand and the look on his face when he sees what happened. Yeah. Also the music in the red leaves scene was really pretty.

There was that movie, Crash. Not the one about people with a weird car crash fetish, but the other one that was a bunch of racism vignettes. It had a scene where you think the guy's little girl gets shot and you see his face twisting in grief for that moment until it's revealed the little girl is fine because the gun was loaded with blanks.

If I can stray from movies, there's this VN I played a few weeks ago called Acting Lessons, by a guy named Dr. Pink Cake, where in the late chapters it gets really dark and intense, and because I got so invested in the characters in the earlier chapters I couldn't help but get a case of the feels as it just went from one powerful scene to the next.

There is something about foreign films that give you tons of feels as you can relate sometimes by the way the characters interact with each other. This movie is one of them. Great storylines, and a great story, no matter how many times I watch this, there is nothing that really beats it. Not even The Notebook XD well maybe for me this is first then The Notebook second hehehe

Violet Evergarden

A loyalty that you can never think exists. You can feel choked up after watching this movie. Get choked up she sounded so robotic but the feeling you get every time you understand what she was saying, it hurts the gut.

An American Crime

I can never understand what kind of person would do something like this. I am a parent myself, had gone through relationships with people with kids of their own, I may not like them, but boy, this is something that is so so wrong.

Megan Is Missing

I sent this movie to my daughter in the Philippines. I made sure she watches this.

Chappie.

I sobbed uncontrollably in the movie theatre during certain scenes. It's not a movie I would watch again because it was such a heavy experience for me. I do have a soft spot for AI characters.
