Ookami perked up, curious as to who was at the door now but figured it was probably Vailean, getting him a bit excited.

Mafuyu was there smiling on the other side and was pretty use to the reaction he got from Hitoshi, the shock and he had been getting so much more since getting here but he liked it here. The leopard padded in proudly, now wearing a tank top again but not his harness. "Yep, I Speak human language, English for one but I know a few fun words in other languages. You must be the rumored Hitoshi Sagara, am I correct.... Sir?" He was quick to catch himself, knowing this guy wasn't another slave but the ticket to a room that he was looking forward to. Though... he looked around and this "room" was freaking amazing.

"This place is incredible! Oh, and don't worry, I was raised by humans so I know a lot and hope I can help! I just arrived at the estate today so I hope you don't mind my being new. The master has already given me approval to be here," He said proudly, puffing out his chest. Mafuyu was excited to know what his task was and if he was going to be able to get a reward while doing it like he did last time. Just the thought was going to get him wet again so he had to shake it from his mind for now. "Oh right, My name is Mafuyu and it is a pleasure to be at your service," he said, bowing himself, legs and upper body going into a respectful bow.

Hitoshi was stunned into silence though his outward reaction was restrained and portraying boredom. But this leopard boy had clothes on, was intelligent and could speak with a fluency that was almost uncanny. If Hitoshi ignored the bottom big cat part then he could really just be talking to a dude with weird ears. The man knowing his name makes him frown some though he can't deny that that's who he is. "Mr. Sagara is fine," he says, showing that this boy got the same treatment Vailean did. Whereas Hitoshi had lured Vailean into a private but steamy scenario, that wouldn't happen this time around.

He doesn't feel anything about being complimented about his room-iverse and he listens as they head towards the house. Brand new, approved by Wells... Hitoshi could come back from trips to find new residents that he didn't gather personally. People knew who Wells were and wanted to give him gifts to curry his favor. "No, it's fine. You'll find a space soon I imagine," He says as he leads the way and heads inside. "Ookami-san, someone is here," he calls in Japanese, wondering if this is one of the human languages Mafuyu spoke. He couldn't tell what ethnicity he was on the human half and he couldn't tell if that mattered. He couldn't place the name's origin like he could Ookami's.

Hitoshi leads the way into the living room and speaks to Mafuyu. "His name is Ookami. He was injured upon arrival and we've been trying to learn human things. He's a good kid, I think, now that we've settled down," Hitoshi says, knowing that the two of them would probably have to sniff each other.

"Right, Mr. Sagara it is!" he said loud and proud, standing up straighter and padding after the human to the house. Mafuyu was still admiring the whole place as they walked forward and stepped in the door, Hitoshi switching languages and calling out to someone. "Whoa! You speak Japanese Mr. Sagara?! I'm half Japanese which was why I was named Mafuyu, meaning Mid winter. Not very original, I was born in winter and I'm a snow leopard... dull... Sadly, I don't speak Japanese," he added. This one was much more talkative than Ookami. Speaking of, Mafuyu looked around the side to see the wolf's head pop up and look back at him.

The two stared for a minute before Ookami glared and his ears came forward, baring his teeth without a sound. Mafuyu on the other hand looked like he was about to laugh at the pathetic wolf. "So, Mr. Sagara? What would you like me to do? He seems a bit... Feral.... I mean, I don't care for guys but if you want me to dish out his punishment like I did that beauty that Master gave me, I'm sure I can handle that," he said, smirking at Ookami who was now working to get off the couch to face this cocky stranger.

"I'm looking to get a room for my own little toy Master gave me so whatever I can do for you, let me know! I don't mind putting this pup in his place," Mafuyu laughed a bit at Ookami who was now up and limping around the couch to face off. He had to protect Hitoshi from the dangerous feline like he had tried with the blood haired human.

Mafuyu explaining his name does definitely help and Hitoshi realizes his native language is a bit rusty. He doesn't use it often and it's not like winter is a season in the estate grounds. He could make his room-iverse any season he wanted though he kept it at this temperate mid-fall most of the time. It was the moment when summer stops being so oppressively warm and right before the leaves change. As he leads the mid-winter snow leopard into his house and Ookami sees him, he can feel the energy shift in the room. He wasn't wearing his sword because he didn't think he'd need it. Anyone stupid enough to attack him would be killed, no doubt about it.

Mafuyu saying he'd give punishment to Ookami makes Hitoshi instantly step between them and shield the poor boy trying to be intimidating behind him. He pieced together what the creature meant... He must have showed dominance on someone in the way only Wells would want. Mafuyu wants a room and he thinks fucking his way into one will work here. Hitoshi didn't care who he was or who he thought he was talking to but Ookami wasn't going to get mounted against his will. Hitoshi still found him strange but he had a good nature at the heart of it all and he couldn't let someone hurt that.

He towers over the cat beast and his dark obsidian eyes flash fire just once as he says, "You do anything like that to him and I'll rip your dick off. See how much you like the estate when I've got your balls mounted on my wall." He isn't fucking around here and neither would Mafuyu if he knew what was best for him.

Hitoshi was quick to get between the two as Ookami came around the edge of the couch, his fur standing on end, his hackles up. He was scared but was more angry and protective. This feline was nothing to him. Clearly this cat had been tamed and Ookami, though injured, was extremely powerful. He didn't know what Mafuyu had been referring to but he spoke too fast with too many words for the wolf to fully keep up anyway. The two looked like they were going to pounce, Ookami in defense and ready to kill, Mafuyu with a slight grin and licking his lips.

Once Hitoshi was between them and began to exert an aura over Mafuyu, the feline backed down immediately, his tail curling around him as he cat body got really low and he slumped away, very similar to how he had with Wells. "R-Right... Sorry Sir," he said as the other towered and threatened him. Mafuyu gulped nervously and backed away. He thought that was the plan but apparently not. "It won't happen again. I'll be sure to listen to instructions," he added, his nervous voice a bit higher and shaking.

The winter cat was so scared of this man, just as he had with Wells. Ookami on the other hand, looked on in awe. He was amazed by how this human didn't seem afraid to stand up to a leopard. Though, Ookami caught a scent and sniffed the air for a moment before letting out a growl, despite the pain in his throat. Why the hell was there a cat in damn heat here?!

"So, Mr. Sagara. What is it that you called me here for?" he asked, clearing his throat and putting a bit more distance between himself and the pair.

Hitoshi wasn't scared of some cat though he knew snow leopards were quite powerful. They were smaller than most big cats but they had powerful legs. If Mafuyu really wanted to fuck him over he could do it but Hitoshi specialized in gattotsu sword fighting. His legs were equally powerful from the lunge technique he mastered ages ago. Even without his sword on him, he was still a threat at any given point. He did practice several times a week so as not to get rusty. He was smug to see Mafuyu back down, submitting to him easily enough. Hit makes him wait for a long, agonizing second as he glares at him before saying, "Good. See to it that you do."

Hitoshi takes a deep breath and steps back, going to Ookami and patting his head. "It's alright. If he hurts you I get to kill him," Hitoshi says, not even acknowledging the threat nor the ease with which he said it. He probably wouldn't kill Mafuyu, that was for Wells to decide. But if he showed up missing his tail or with a broken set of ribs, well... This house wasn't always easy.

Why he called Mafuyu here was much easier to explain and he faces him again, once more neutral. "Ookami-san is struggling with human concepts. He's trying very hard but he's sick and wounded and he can't talk well. I need someone to help me teach him how to do things so he can meet Wells. You clearly know how to use all of yourself as a unit," Hitoshi says, still standing with Ookami but gently telling him to get on the couch what with his bum leg.

Mafuyu was able to stand up when he was going for something he wanted like in the arena not too long ago but he knew who the higher ups were and was good to respect that. He'd pissed off his previous masters with his shenanigans but Wells already scared the crap out of him so he wasn't going to misbehave any time soon, that's for sure. It was so hard to stand there under Hitoshi's gaze but when the other finally calmed down, Mafuyu was still feeling shaken but he tried to fake laugh it off and focus on the mission.

Ookami looked up at Hitoshi who pat his head and reassured him in the language he was less use to but it was clear by his voice, the message was hardly meant for him so the wolf nodded and stopped his growling, looking back at the feline with cold eyes before having to listen and return to the couch. He just hoped that Hitoshi was really alright.

Mafuyu gulped and backed off even more before clearing his throat. "Right... So he struggles with the human stuff... Isn't this like raising a kid? I'd think a human would be better suited to teach this kind of thing... As for the voice, he probably has the voice box of a dog. You'd just have to train his voice slowly so he doesn't strain it. I had to have voice lessons. Start with sounds... Like the alphabet but what each letter sounds like, not what it is. Do the short hand version and that will help him to be able to exercise his voice and prepare it for human speech. As for working with his hands, he just needs more practice because clearly he's an animal that doesn't realize he's half human," Mafuyu took the time to explain. He would help where he could but he didn't know how to deal with kids.

Everyone here was Wells' pet but he was the one who curated the collection. Hitoshi would not be disrespected nor threatened because he could easily sell someone off. Wells may get upset with him but if he presented him with something new, he usually didn't care too much. Hitoshi got away with a lot of things these slaves wouldn't dream to dare. But Mafuyu proved useful when he explained good foundations upon which to start teaching Ookami. Vocal warm up was wise and he'd definitely use that. He didn't care if Ookami knew full sentences in any language but he needed to be able to get his point across. He needed to do it without presenting as a dumb animal.

"I can do the hands thing but I don't know how to help him entirely. I'm not the doctor but if you've met her, you'd---nevermind. You wouldn't understand," Hitoshi starts before catching himself and refusing to continue on. Mafuyu had offered to mount Ookami into submission and that was the sort of energy Amy had. Hit had a feeling those two would get along though Mafuyu would listen. "Do you know how to, I don't know... Communicate with him in animal?" He asks, getting as much out of this visit as he could.

Mafuyu knew that getting on the bad side of this man would put him anywhere but his master's favor and that was something he really wanted. He needed to behave in front of this man and prove himself useful. "What about the doctor?" he asked, tilting his head. Mafuyu hadn't met her yet but the sudden stopping of Mr. Sagara was enough for him to figure out that maybe he and this doctor fellow didn't get along too well, though it didn't seem like there was anything that the feline could do about it.

"No, sorry, I don't speak wolf. Besides, I was raised by humans so I remember my parents but only just vaguely." he tried to explain. "I'm far more civilized than that thing is. However, since he is injured and you don't want him moving around, why not get those children blocks, the ones with the letters. You can teach him how to stack them like cups, give him a chance to get use to using human hands, and you can even teach him spelling at the same time," he added. Mafuyu stopped to think about it for a minute. What other advice could he give? The more he did, the better his reward should be.

Hit waved off the notion of calling the doctor because she fell into the same category as Mafuyu: useful but annoying. Mafuyu realized his place, though, much better than Amy so he got some credit for that. Hit didn't mind personality but he wouldn't tolerate disrespect. The idea to get simple toys for children learning motor functions is rather genius and teaching Ookami how to write might be a good way to teach his hands and his language skills. In the end, asking for Mafuyu to come here had been beneficial.

"Alright...that's... That's very helpful. Thank you, Mafuyu. I'll put in a good word towards you getting a space since you said you just arrived. I'll add you to the chore list as well so you may start earning points," Hitoshi says, walking the leopard man towards the door again. He had been stumped on how to deal with Ookami's strangeness but these were all things he could start working on. It would keep Ookami busy and not bored and they could stay sitting while he worked on improving himself so he could be released into the estate.

After Mafuyu has been shown out of the room-iverse, Hitoshi returns and goes about gathering up markers and pencils and some paper. He'd teach him English since it was more widely used and after pausing, he knows getting some treats might help this run smoothly. He has to look up some things wolves can eat and celery and peanut butter come up. Hitoshi spends ten minutes making ants on a log without the ants because dogs couldn't eat grapes or raisins. He makes them small and bite sized and comes back to the coffee table.

"Alright, Ookami-san, how about we learn to read, hm? You don't have to say anything for now but you can learn how to write," he says as he sits down and turns off the television so they can focus.

Mafuyu was giving the best advice that he could given his experiences. Sadly, he himself wasn't a very good reader. He could reach but not well since all of his previous masters had been more interested in his lower half than his human half. He was nothing but a fancy pet to them and a circus act at one point. They taught him how to speak and every now and then he'd find someone who'd read to him, giving him the chance to figure it out but as he got bigger, they cared little for his human brain, more for his dangerous side... Though.... he wasn't really all that dangerous beyond knowing how to fight... He did well with the Anthro but he was just having fun with her.

"Glad I could help, Mr. Sagara. If there is anything else I can help you with, please just let me know," Mafuyu said proudly. He wanted as many points as he could get and wondered if taking care of the Anthro in the cages was a chore because he'd be sure to tend to her every need!! Though, a good word from the rumored Hitoshi Sagara went a long way so he was hoping to be able to get a room sooner rather than later. Mafuyu continued to make his way to the front door, following after Hitoshi until he was able to leave.

"I'll be down in the cages for some time if you still need me, I might actually have to take my toy to the doctor for a check-up so if I'm not in the cages, I'll be there," he announced. Mafuyu felt like he did an excellent job and might just reward himself so long as no one else still needed him.

Ookami was starting to get use to Hitoshi moving about the space, and wouldn't get up or have to stare at him. If he was getting food, he'd always give some to the wolf, and he never really left for too long so it was alright. He returned this time with less food and more strange things. He looked at it and nodded, willing to give all different things a try. Hitoshi-sensei wanted to teach him so he would learn.

"If you can think of anything that might be helpful for him, that would be good. You may use my name once if you're having difficulty with something. I will know if you try more than that," Hitoshi says, knowing that if Mafuyu was going to the doctor that she might give him a hard time. Saying Sagara usually put everyone back in their place and even Amy with all of her nonchalance knew better. Or at least, she should. Word would get back to him if Mafuyu abused the privilege of saying Hitoshi Sagara sent you because people would come rushing to know if that was true or not. Spending his name's power did come at a high cost.

After getting set up to learn, Ookami can't really get off the couch so Hitoshi has to go get a clip board but it's so he won't lean over the couch and hurt himself further. He holds up a black marker and begins to shape the alphabet on the page, sounding everything out. He'll then have Ookami try doing it and he doesn't have to say the sound but he should be able to recognize it if he hears it enough. He already has basic speech so this is just tying the word to how it's made up. Every five letters Hitoshi gives him a peanut butter celery bite as a reward for trying. He just had to try to hold the marker and drag it on the paper.

Hitoshi knew the technique for holding a writing instrument was much different than holding a spoon so it takes a while to get that to a level that is comfortable. Showing Ookami how to drag it along the page and how to hold it in a way that's comfortable for him. He knows some people lead more with their middle finger, some even with their pinkie, but he tries to get him to hold it first his way of guiding it with the middle finger and then they work on lines.

Mafuyu agrees to not abuse the name... Though, he really wasn't sure how he would abuse it... He just wanted it to get back to the master that he had been a help to Sagara in hopes that it gave him some great points towards the room he wanted. The feline would do whatever it took to get the room and knew helping out did wonders and this was such an easy task. He wished all his tasks were as fun as the first or easy as this last one.

Ookami listened really well and took the clipboard and the marker. He was a bit awkward at first and just before writing each letter, he would pause and look around before getting mesmerized by the marker itself. It was a very strange ritual that he did again and again. He had seen humans write before but where he was from, he'd only seen a class that seemed to need to dip their writing utensil each time before putting it to the page. Though, Ookami started to get comfortable, holding the marker like one would a paint brush and he would stroke the page like he were painting a picture. It was rough but what he'd seen.

The wolf couldn't tell the difference between writing and painting so he was convinced this was how to do it. His letters were artistic despite being sloppy and the treat certainly kept him motivated to continue. This was like what he'd done with the chopsticks... Something he'd seen before and tried to copy.

Ookami did a bang up job considering Hitoshi wasn't sure how this would go. He was open to training his hand muscles and learning how to write would help him communicate. When he wasn't feeling up to talking, he could write it out and vice versa. Giving him more ways to communicate was an idea he wished he thought of himself. Mafuyu had earned his reward points for spitballing with him and giving him things to keep Ookami entertained while also teaching him. He'd let him take a break, of course, to do what he wanted but for now the marker was a big hit and he looked like he was enjoying playing with it.

After they did the alphabet, Hitoshi felt that was a good time to pause. He picks up a fresh sheet of paper and takes his marker, doing a quick sketch of Ookami on the page. "Ookami-san," he says and he drew a decent little drawing of a face approximately like Ookami's with the wolf ears. Now that he thinks about it, pictograms were another form of communication so maybe they could draw up some words Ookami might need. Hitoshi didn't think himself much of an actual teacher like this but Ookami was easy to work with when they were on the same page.

Hit knew he'd be allowed into the estate proper and he'd see that he got a room but... Hit thought they were kind of friends at this point. Or at least companions. He'd probably be one of the only people to be given full access to his space.

Ookami was trying really hard to get the letters right but they looked kind of different from Hitoshi's and he frowned a bit... The wolf wanted to keep working until he was better but they had been at it for a while so Hitoshi was calling for a break. He took the papers and began to do something else with the marker and it was so cute and so much like him! The wolf's tail wagged and he stared at it with excitement. Ookami was barely able to keep himself from talking as he reached out, wanting to take the paper and marker so he could try.

Ookami took some paper and looked to dip the marker before becoming fascinated by it again, then began painting on the page. He made a really bad picture and showed it to Hitoshi, smiling at him and waiting for his approval. It was certainly artistic and could be mistaken for a human but he had no idea where to start. His picture was squiggly and he didn't thing to take the marker off the page. Still, he seemed so proud for trying so hard at this weird thing. Ookami was very much like a kid but with some practice, he would do fine.

The wolf felt close with this human, unlike any other human he'd ever met.... Though, any time he got too close to humans they usually tried to kill him... Ookami wondered if Hitoshi would think of him as an ally, a friend... a pack member? Probably not that far but if they could share space, that would be enough for him.

Ookami's excitement over his drawing makes Hitoshi smile just a little bit. His tough facade could be worn away by a soft soul and Ookami was proving that he was gentle in his core. He was angry and scared yesterday, natural responses given the circumstances, but now that he was open to receiving help, he was quite easy to engage with. They were figuring out how to communicate and Ookami was a nice kid. Hitoshi would probably always struggle with centaur people or whatever they were called, but Ookami's personality was enough of a redeeming factor that he could forget the weird wolf part.

Hitoshi watches Ookami try to draw too and he can't help but chuckle and smile a bit more. "Looks just like me," he says with a nod, getting up to take the picture and magnet it onto the fridge. That's what parents do with kid drawings and Ookami was sort of like a kid he was babysitting. "The fridge is a high honor," Hitoshi explains as he comes back around though he does pause at the little desk near the glass doors to find more markers in different colors. If Ookami wanted to doodle, that was fine. It'd give him more motor skills.

Hitoshi shows him how to uncap them and reminds him to put the cap on when he was done or it would get dry. He was free to doodle himself into oblivion and Hit would get some crayons next time he went out. If Vailean came back for dinner he could show off how well Ookami was doing.

Ookami's tail wagged like crazy when Hitoshi realized the drawing was of him and that made the wolf feel better about his odd "writing" skills. The wolf nuzzled Hitoshi a bit before blushing a bit and pulling back. It wasn't anything sexual or too romantic, but it was a sign he had only done with his family, the other wolves in the pack. Hitoshi had proven himself to be the alpha here but he clearly was unsettled by the wolf in Ookami, preferring him to be more human so a gesture like that might just be seen as an insult to a human.

He watched as the human got up and walked to the kitchen, lifting his head to look out over the edge of the couch just to see Hitoshi sticking the picture onto the cold food box. When he returned, leaving the doodle there, Ookami looked at him sideways until it was explained what he had done. So the cold food box was called a fridge? Words like that were a bit over his head but he knew honor and Ookami puffed his chest out proudly, and saw that as its own reward.

Ookami was presented with a bunch of fancy colored ink brushes and Hitoshi taught him how to uncap and recap them after. That made him happy and Ookami began to take the different ink brushes and started to color a picture. One looked like the ocean at first but then he was coloring the sky a purple color and he finished with a frown. There were clouds... kind of, a purple sky, a green sun, blue grass and an orange tree... Ookami looked at it and then looked towards the window... These weren't the colors.. They didn't match.... It was now that he was realizing that he didn't have a good concept of colors. He then took another paper and would hold a color up, seeing which one was the closest to the outside before he started writing all over the page, starting to color and draw a forest scene.

The nuzzle caught him off guard but Hitoshi simply patted Ookami's head. He knew that he was being affectionate and happy and that was good. His mood improving would help his body get better. He can also tell Ookami understands that putting his drawing on the fridge is high praise and he chuckles some as he puffs up. Ookami was both a young man and a puppy in his actions and demeanor. He still couldn't quite figure his age but he had to be an older teenager if he had to guess based on the human half. How that affected his wolf age he wasn't sure but he's never really dealt with creatures like him.

After coming back with more markers, Hitoshi is going to grab his book from earlier when Ookami starts to scribble. He frowns some at the odd color choices, thinking he might be color blind. Dogs normally were so he wouldn't put it past him. It shouldn't affect his health or wellbeing, he'd just make weird drawings. Still, Hit was impressed by Ookami realizing he had his colors mixed up and tried to match them against what he saw outside. He'd maybe get him coloring books to better improve his motor skills and control, little kid crafts might be a good way to entertain him while he was sick.

Once his leg got good enough to walk on short distances, he'd get a harness and go with him into the estate. For now, just hanging out was working fine.

Ookami was realizing his colors were still a bit off but he was a bit screwed with his colors... He was actually color blind in one eye and could only really see colors as dull and.... off. Ookami would sometimes just frown and debate between colors, trying desperately to get them correct but sometimes he might mix blue up with green or brown with purple. The only colors he didn't have a problem with were the reds because both his eyes were capable of seeing the difference in shades of red. So, his pictures still turned out a bit strange but he would look to Hitoshi and show it off, hoping for a little more praise.

The wolf created three different forest scenes, some with what could be wolves though, they looked a bit odd. Still, it was kind of cute and Ookami gave it to Hitoshi. He was showing him the kind of place that Ookami came from. He wanted Hitoshi to know about his family and hopefully, he would be able to convince the human to maybe take him back there. The wolf didn't have the skills to draw his "Parents" and be able to explain these to Hitoshi but if he could show him the pack, he might be able to get it.

Ookami wondered how much he would be able to do... Hitoshi pat his head and didn't get angry with the nuzzling and he was giving Ookami a way to communicate without having to speak... Would he let the wolf go home or at least see his family again?

Hitoshi reads his book while Ookami draws and every time he holds him up something to look at, he puts his bookmark in and smiles and compliments it. Already this was proving to be a gangbusters idea because Ookami was willing to do this. Kids crafts then, were going to be the key to making Ookami comfortable using his hands. He didn't mind the odd color choices because every drawing got a little more articulate as to what he was trying to show. Even after some puzzling Hitoshi figured out Ookami was drawing wolves. That made way too much sense and he got a chuckle out of it. The wolf drew wolves.

If Ookami asked to go home, Hitoshi would be a bit at a loss. Wells didn't release people from the estate unless it was in a body bag. Ookami wasn't a purchase of his, but rather a gift from a fan or something like that. If Ookami went back to his home and the fan saw him loose it would be blood. People didn't like feeling snubbed. He might be able to swing a visit but even that would probably require a lot of finessing and a heavy guard detail. It wasn't on his mind, though, as Hitoshi mostly focused on his book and looking up when Ookami passed him a picture.

"Practice your letters again," Hitoshi says after a bit, bookmarking his page and going to make more snacks. This time it was carrots and a little ranch dip. Snacks worked the best and it was all little things so Ookami wouldn't spoil his dinner though he was pretty sure dogs could eat themselves into stupors.
