(Oh, right. xD )

"It depends on what kind of person you are." Sarah replied. "If your friends have to go revive you, no matter how tough they are they'd be putting their lives in danger. To someone who doesn't mind the thought of their friends dying trying to save them, I guess they'd be less afraid. But to someone who doesn't want their friends to die, it just makes the possibility of death even worse. Knowing that if you screw up and die, it may cost more then just your life." Sarah replied. While she feared death for the normal reasons, another big part of her fear of death was that her friends would go to save her and not survive the attempt. She knew a couple people had died the first time she was brought back. And she also knew that Kathryn and Kate had taken a team to try and revive one of their friends too, and the entire team had been wiped out, only the two of them survived and they didn't even make it far enough to revive their friend. "I joined the Spartans because they guarantee that they will revive their fallen soldiers. Not right away, of course, they tend to revive their soldiers and any civilians who die in bulk unless they lost someone really important. But there is that slight comfort."

"Another fair point. That or they trust their friends not to die. The Spartans have a lot of strong people who work well together from what I've heard. Plus don't they have two Alpha's on their side? That's a lot of power. Still I see why people would hesitate to simply die and hope to be brought back since it's a big risk to their friends." She'd reveal her winning hand and hold out her hand to claim Sarah's next bit of clothing if she had any left.

"We do have a lot of team members who work well together, and there is the Alphas, but the Alphas aren't really much tougher then us betas. It's a noticeable power difference, but two betas are stronger then an alpha, the Alphas appear much stronger then they are due to their sheer skill and coordination with each other. Even if we were all equally as strong, the Alphas would still be at the top due to pure combat skill." Sarah said, then she glanced at her cards and frowned a little. She had no clothing left at this point, "Um, so does that mean you win the game? I'm all out of clothes." She asked.

"Well they where the first ones here so it makes sense." Sherry grinned at the last hand for Sarah. "Well if you have no more clothes to bet then I guess I get your body for the night." She'd motion for Sarah to come closer. "Don't worry I don't bite too hard."

Sarah blushed deeply and looked up at Sherry with a look of shock. "W-What? What do you mean by that?" She asked a little cautiously. Although her expression gave away that she probably knew what the woman meant. She seemed a little hesitant to move closer for the moment, she barely knew Sherry, but at the same time she was never one to be good at dealing with pressure.

Sherry grinned at her and leaned over showing off her own curves. "I mean..." She'd speak slowly to mess with the young woman some more as she tip toed her fingers across the table. "That I want you to warm my bed. Literally. It gets cold in here at night and while I may love my friends they kinda smell bad. Have to constantly wash the sheets to keep from smelling like Pooh." She said jabbing a thumb at the Chimera who stopped gnawing on a large bone at the mention of his name. To his credit Pooh did look a little ashamed of his smell.

Sarah bit her lip as she watched Sherry and her gestured, she looked a little tense up until Sherry made her joke about Pooh, which caused her to smile and laugh a little. Although the mention of literally warming the bed made her wonder if she said literally there, indicating that was all she had wanted, or as a metaphor. "It'd be a little strange, but I could stay the night if that's what you mean. Just need to let my grandmother know I wont be home tonight." She replied. She was a little unsure about going further then that, she was a modest girl and even this much was going out of her usual comfort zone, but she also did not handle peer pressure well.

"Of course. It's best not to travel around here at night anyways. Especially because of that guest we had earlier. I'd insist on you staying if you tried to leave in all honesty. I only go out at night when I have to and that's with all these body guards." She said motioning to her horde of monsters. "I do have to say I'm surprised they forced a grandmother into the game. How is she handling being here?"

Sarah nodded a little at that explanation. "That is true, while I do not think the Moderators would attack me, we are supposed to be allies after all, I wouldn't trust them not to." She thought out loud, seeming to relax a little. She felt comforted that Sherry was looking out for her. Sarah laughed a little when Sherry mentioned them forcing a grandmother to play and shook her head. "No, they didn't force her to play. Well, kinda. After the beta tests I went missing, of course, so the next day my grandmother marched down to the site the beta tests were being held and demanded to know where I was. I don't know exactly what happened, but she tells me she clocked the guy who answered the door with her cane when they wouldn't let her in and walked in on her own. Then once they finally found her in the facility they threw her into a game pod to make sure she didn't call the police or tell anyone about the place." She explained from what her grandmother had told her. "Back when the Spartans reclaimed Oline city from the dragon and goblins, we found granny held up in the library. We used to live in the real oline city so she knew how to get to the library. Apparently she found some spellbooks in there and was using magic to keep the goblins out while waiting for someone to come find her. She has handled the transition pretty well for her age. She just doesn't leave the city much."

"Wow Sarah. Your grandmother sounds like a badass. Is she like a retired fighter or action star?" Asked Sherry impressed. "When I first arrived I spent the first day or two running for my life from the little buggers. Eventually found a sling shot, a old dagger, and stuff to make some Molotov cocktails with. Killed a few and took some loot and the rest is me avoiding people for the most part and playing pokemon." She said motioning to her pokemon who were all settling in for the night.
