Apparently email is blocked by default (even when using a different mail server than the server the forum is hosted on) so I opened a support ticket, may be a bit.

When you say 'site is moved' and that you are moving to Linode, what does that mean? As in will this site url no longer be active and there's a new link for the new site? Or is the url the same and you just made different changes? I don't see a new url for the new site and Linode anywhere? Or am I missing something? Do I need to go to a new url site and register there? This site just recently came back online for me after a period of 9 months where I couldn't get it to load at all.
He just switched the host, from Cloudflare to Linode. So the only differences is what company is providing the physical servers. Same url and everything. 9 months ago there was a different issue, where a measure intended to discourage bad people by throttling their access was being applied randomly to just about everyone. That's mentioned in a different thread, and it was fixed earlier this year.
