About a year ago, Slavoj Zizek debated Jordan Peterson and famously asked where were all these Marxists Peterson had been talking about. I presume he wanted to count them like bats. Vun! Two! Three! Three Marxists! AH AH AH!

Recently I've been seeing a lot of statues being pulled down: Winston Churchill, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington... even a Civil War hero who fought against slavery. But for some reason nobody has touched any statues of Karl Marx.

Well, I suppose it's as the kids say: "I reject your nation's history and substitute my own"

This has to stop. Three years ago I made a thread about American Civil War statues being pulled down in Charlottesville, Virginia, where famously a lady was killed after some asshole drove into a crowd (not unprovoked, but nonetheless unjustified -- I hear somebody in Seattle this year had learned that lesson and pulled a gun instead, and shot only the provocateur). There were some fine people on both sides, as I've been told . And plenty of shitty people on both sides. When I suggested it was probably a bad idea to be destroying statues, Mr. Eros told me that this was a right wing talking point.

I have never been as right wing as I am now. If Trump is allowing this to continue, then fuck Trump too. It's not about him. This is not just happening in the states, it's happening in the UK as well (also known as the first country to outlaw the slave trade, but tragically also the source of the Enlightenment). This is an attack upon the liberal west, ie. everyone who fought against the national socialists in world war 2. Yes, it turns out that liberals get the bullet too. These are the same people who thousands of years ago burned down the great library at Alexandria. Apparently we fought the wrong fucking enemy 80 years ago, and now the globalist socialists are finally making their move. It's like they had to wait until the Greatest Generation was all dead first. Or maybe it was just a long march through the institutions... or maybe it's just the natural endgame of a decadent society where children never get spanked.

Oh, right, and Notre Dame definitely was NOT arson, just like SARS-CoV-2 definitely did NOT escape from a lab. We're so sure of it, we don't even need to wait for the evidence. But it's okay, because the virus doesn't kill as many people as racism or whatever. In other words, there will never be a mob of liberals throwing rocks and molotovs at us if we disagree with them, so fuck 'em. Draw any prophet you want, as long as it's not Mohammed. Talk shit about any race as long as it's not of colour. The violent wheel gets the grease. Might makes right. That's what we are being told, and it severely bothers me. There are some people who want to live in a world like that, where intelligence means nothing and aggression is everything. A religion of submission. I want nothing to do with those people. It sounds literally like Hell. Even less do I want to live in a world where those people are slaves to a cognitive elite who live an ocean away. What could be worse than Hell, but a Hell that was created on purpose to serve some rich asshole's power fantasy?

According to post-modernism, the only thing that matters in the world are structures of power. If a (bloody) post-mwodernist tells you he has any other goal besides power, he's full of fucking shit.

We as a society need to deal with this the same way that a healthy body deals with the coronavirus: recognize it, fight it, and build immunity. Do not let it take over individual minds and institutions and spawn copies of itself everywhere while destroying the host. Do not let yourself be intimidated or fatigued into inaction, or worse, coopted into supporting them. Race and gender are irrelevant; everyone gets fucked in the end. Shut Marxism down wherever you see it. Be like Ghandi and refuse to cooperate with evil. Or else the end result will be no different from the USSR; China; Cambodia; North Korea; Venezuela... except maybe for the skin colour of those who make up the politburo (look at Zimbabwe and South Africa to see how that plays out). But then again, I have a sneaking suspicion that the true puppet-masters behind all of this have white (or yellow) skin, and very high IQ scores.

A recent video from Paul Vanderklay got me thinking. He points out, and I've known this for some time, that Enlightenment (classical) liberalism has a major flaw in that it focuses too much on individuals, and fails to account for group dynamics. Things like family and community are not considered to have any value under Enlightenment thinking. Here Paul connects the dots and suggests that Marxism emerged as specifically the thing that was best able to exploit that flaw in liberalism. Sort of a Darwinian thing, where liberalism created a niche that was just waiting for the right parasite to come in and fill it.

I used to think that all this social justice stuff was a bunch of subversion being pushed originally by the Soviets during the cold war, and now by China, or by some cabal of international elites of which Soros is a member. But now I'm starting to think it's a natural response to the inherent blind spot of the liberal order. China and the globalists are only seizing on an opportunity that disaffected westerners have created for them. Or more precisely, an opportunity that western institutions have created, because while individual people can be in tune with reality, institutions have to stick to a framework of rules for interaction between individuals, which can very easily deviate from reality. Anyone who lives within the framework of an institution effectively has his hands tied.

It seems to me that liberalism needs to change itself, to become more in line with group dynamics, or else it will be taken over by the Marxists and turned into something that self-terminates. It needs to acquire immunity to the communist mind virus, or be consumed by it. That's probably something they should start teaching in schools. Easier said than done, I know, because school is just another institution. But that's where it would have to start. Red-proof your kids early, as Molyneux says.

Part of disassembling capitalism is getting into positions where things that characterize western, "bourgeois", capitalist society can be subverted. That would be via "The Long Walk Through The Institutions" in order to promote ideas and behavior that intentionally destabilize the society.

No person who's reasonably content, feels free, and is "winning" in the current system is going to want to replace it with a system like Communism or Fascism that will make their life comparatively miserable. People are willing to accept authoritarianism when they're disaffected and/or looking for someone to blame for their problems.

I think a typical liberal likes ideas that sound good. Black lives matter, anti-Fascist action, feminism, animal-rights all are good ideas when taken at face value. Of course, black lives matter. Of course, Fascism is bad. Of course, women are people. Of course, animals shouldn't be abused. Leftists like things that have double-meanings, though.

If they just came out and said, "We're going to stir up racial tensions, make men and women hate each other, make humans essentially hate themselves, put a bunch of people in debt, and make all the things that kept the society together - work ethic, family, culture - seem worthy of abolition so our ideas will look better," it wouldn't be attractive

Continuing with the virus metaphor...

...now I am imagining the commenters on Styx's bitchute as like an overactive immune system that wants to kill the patient with fever. A cytokine stormfront...
