I figured maybe he's a bit older in this one and picked up a bad habit from Maru. As a side note, I styled him after M-21 from Noblesse because I have had such a boner for that character ever since I read that comic. M-21 is almost just like Maverick, which is odd since I made Maverick a decade and a half ago way before this comic ever existed. Despite that, they are so coincidentally alike. Both have grey hair and a super serious personality and almost never smile. Both have no real name and both have no memories of their past. Both are so-called failed experiments made by a "Union". I can't get over how ridiculous that is. Maverick is a creation of Delta Union, yet the bad guys organization in Noblesse is called the Union. I guess I'm not the only one who had this sort of idea, but my Union is five of them named after greek letters and run by bad guys ranked as the zodiacs and my idea didn't include Werewolves and Vampires. I still find it so weird though. Maybe that's why I love M-21 so much, because he's almost exactly like my favorite OC of mine.
I got this inspiration after hearing that the comic is getting an anime this year. It's about fucking time. @[email protected]
This is a WIP of a piece I promised to make when my static cleared the raid tier in FF14. I forget how rough this is on my wrist though because I'm a bloody perfectionist when I have all the details and references in front of me. I'm pretty proud of my idea of the selfie queens sitting on our poor Dragoon though. XD
I've been gone a while but I got some shit I guess.
Troy can manipulate fire and cause explosions at will, Randel can freeze anything he touches but if he overuses this power he can end up getting frost bite, which is how he lost one of his arms, Mikah has no power but is determined to find the truth behind his father's death, Miles is a doctor obviously, Sorea can alter sound around her to either silence all sound or create an isolated soundproof space as well as create many high pitched sounds, and Jerry is just a really good chef.
Only one of them is truly a bad guy though. Can you possibly guess which one? It's not like I didn't make it obvious or anything. XD
Karsyn can read memories through touch as well as replay those memories through the target's mind for a half hour at most, Stellan can phase through objects at will but his true terror is the drugs he collects and can use to do horrible things, Marcus can make large-scale hallucinations in many targets at once, and Hayes can freeze specific people around him so they are unable to move but requires immense focus to maintain it.
Not gonna lie, I traced the fuck out of the old man's guns. I cannot into objects. Impossible, muri.
From left to right, Vincent the Tailor whose special power is manipulating threads, Frost Randal who can create ice by touching objects, Hawkeye Huang who can manipulate the wind making his shots deadly accurate, Maru who can control objects with his mind, Kodiak the artificial human, Deklan who is an engineer with no special power, Lucas who is really good at computers and coding and stuff, Maverick whose power isn't really known originally but he can copy the powers of other people, at a price, and Sorea who can manipulate sound.
Fun fact, Randal lost his arm to frostbite caused by overusing his power.
I thought of just throwing some of my bad guys together is a lewd display. I think I'm better at drawing dicks now, lmfao. This idea started with me wanting to draw Scorpio in a hot pose (He's the Red Head). I think it's amusing that I put Aries (The Girl) with Sagittarius (Green Haired Guy), since they sort of hate each other and are rivals, but maybe there's a sort of love there that isn't out in the open? One sided of course, her admiration for his work maybe?
A Bad End sort of picture.
Clearly I haven't drawn Maverick enough, right? Here's some more.
I got a little inspired recently. Mostly for my "World of Imbalance" idea. Not gonna lie though, Einsoff is a ripoff of my Asimov character, because he's gorgeous. I wanted to at least draw one of each race so I'm not done, haha. I'm amazed I'm cranking out all this work.
Einsoff Minfild. Half elf, half dwarf and born attuned to the fire element. A reincarnation of a Divine Elemental Spirit that was severed from its normal role in the world and forced to be born into flesh. With his existence and power regained, the fire element was restored to the world, but should he somehow die it will be reversed until a new reincarnation is born.
Einsoff is more elf than he is dwarf, hence his stature. Due to his dwarven blood, Einsoff is a naturally skilled smith and this is further aided by his mastery of the fire element.
Valfor, a Dragonian attuned to the dark element and chosen to be the Divine Spirit of Darkness's host. He no longer knows who he used to be due to Umbra's influence upon him and seeks only to sow the seeds of chaos.
Due to the apocalyptic consequences of the elemental imbalance, Dragonians have been unable to participate in their ritual trials to attain their power as a dragonic species. Because of this, Valfor cannot transform.
The Elder Dragons have gone dormant because of the imbalance and it is uncertain whether they will ever come back. Elder Dragons require a lot of elemental energy to live and chose to go dormant to starve themselves of it in hopes of prolonging the world's existence.
Milisar and Lifen. Milisar is a Fae, Lifen is a Dryad. Both are attuned to the earth element. Most Dryad are petrified due to the elemental imbalance depriving them of vital nutrients, but there are some who still live. This could be attributed to living in certain areas which have the proper elemental properties. Dryad excel in assisting the growth of flora, although with the absence of the water element their influence is limited.
Rhyne, a member of a humanoid aquatic species forced to adapt to the land in the wake of the elemental disasters which made the oceans unlivable. She is attuned to the water element, but cannot utilize it due to the absence of the Divine Spirit of Water.
The Divine Spirit of Earth's current master, who was chosen after the previous master took his own life in the wake of the elemental apocalypse in a desperate attempt to keep Ragnarok out of Umbra's reach by forcing it to pass on to a new host. Orion is a demon, and Asmodae's only son. Currently he defends the fallen demon capital of Hordine, though occasionally travels when he hears of interesting occurrences that might relate to the missing elementals. He is the one who discovered Einsoff and helped him awaken. Through Ragnarok's power, Orion can wield the earth element at will and through that can perform limited terraforming by shifting the earth. Using this, Orion was able to fortify several settlements to be better suited for defense against the Blighted. He tries not to stay in one place for too long as he doesn't want to attract Umbra's attention.
